The Pramet Prolog system is a web-based platform which automates the transaction process of storage and tool management to ensure our products are available exactly when and where they are needed.

It controls and simplifies the issuing and returning of tools, helping you to manage stock levels by correctly calculating the volume of individual products. By making stock control more effective, lowers your fixed costs and has a positive impact on productivity and information flow.

Our “Point-of-Use” technology can also help you to implement quality standards and ‘Lean Manufacturing’ methods.

The range of Pramet ProLog equipment available provides a number of options for various working environments with different access security levels available. 


A standard shop floor cabinet with flexible dispensing options available, providing the user with single inserts or boxed inserts dispensers to suit different management levels. Universal drawer and lid number choices offers additional versatility.

Key features include:

  • Up to 672 storage locations.
  • Up to 14 drawers for dispensing and returns inside each cabinet.
  • Flexible number of storage locations per drawer (2, 4, 8, 12, 16, 24, 36, 48 and 128)​.

Virtual Inventory Management

Do you need the convenience of tracking, but have several large items too large to put in a ProLog device?

No problem. With our Virtual Inventory Management (VIM), you can track transactions for products not physically located within a device. With correct user accreditation, items can be easily tracked with full reporting capabilities.

How it works:

  1. Materials are loaded into the VIM for selection by users.
  2. User logs-in to ProLog and chooses an item.
  3. The system shows users where the item is stored.
  4. Transaction is recorded and available in reports within ProLog.
  5. All standard ordering rules and inventory alerts can be applied to items loaded in VIM.
