Dormer Pramet is committed to a sustainable future.

Our new carbide recycling program is another step closer to that future. Carbide is made from valuable raw materials, like tungsten and cobalt. Recycling carbide helps conserve these natural resources which are finite and non-renewable.

How does it work?

You order your box, and we will deliver it to you free of charge. You fill it up with your used carbide, and we pick it up. It’s checked and weighed, then we pay you the market price. The carbide then goes back into the manufacturing process and is made into new tools.

We are piloting the scheme in Sweden, France, Denmark, the UK, and the USA.

경제적 가치

초경합금 스크랩에서 발견되는 텅스텐과 코발트는 여전히 가치를 지니고 있으며, 이를 회수하여 새로운 초경합금 제품에 재사용할 수 있습니다. 초경합금을 재활용하면 이러한 재료를 회수하여 제조 공정에 재투입할 수 있으므로 원자재 비용을 절감할 수 있습니다.

매립 폐기물 감소

초경합금 스크랩은 재활용되지 않으면 매립지에 버려져 공간을 차지하고 환경 위험을 초래하는 경우가 많습니다. 카바이드를 재활용하면 매립지로 가는 폐기물의 양이 줄어들어 지속 가능한 폐기물 관리에 기여합니다.
